Remember a few years back Gordon Strachan saying that Scotland had it all wrong in regards to the games they show on TV. He said that games like Celtic V United at Parkeed and Oldco Rangers V Aberdeen at Poundland Park should be shown since they were always cracking matches.
Instead of that you got the OF playing away from home every week. Games like Hamilton V Celtic or Falkirk V Oldco.
He pointed out that in England there was no way they would miss out Man U V Liverpool to show Forrest V Villa (both previous winners of the European Cup)

The past few seasons have been an even bigger farce. Elgin V Newco instead of Hearts V Aberdeen for example.

This week we've had Pars V Newco and today we have Airdrie Newco V Govan Newco. The "Big" game being Hibs V (Soon to be Newco) Hearts - hey why not, they've shown this one every time for the past 20 years.

So instead of a global audience watching yesterdays United V Dons cracker which was full of action had a full house and red hot atmosphe

100% correct. To show the hibs v Hearts game as the main SPFL fixture of the week was a complete joke considering their league positions.
I have to wonder how much interest and thought there is at Sky as to which games get shown. Sadly, I assume none.
It would appear Rangers and Celtic are the only show in town to anyone outside Scotland.

Five of our next six games are on TV. Killie tomorrow, Hibs on the 10th, ICT on the 18th, Motherwell on 25th, and Celtic on the 8th February in the cup.

The missing one is St Johnston in the League Cup semi on Feb 1st. Pity really as it should be a cracking game.

Don't really object to them showing the Edinburgh Derby as it has a history of being a relatively entertaining game with plenty of incident but completely agree about showing lower league pish in favour of two full-time, professional SPFL clubs.

I take it the ICT & Motherwell games are the full game at 5:30pm on Alba ? What about the Killie game tomorrow is that live on Alba at 3pm ?
