So will we be booing him then or what?

I doubt he'll be playing. But if he is - I won't be booing.

He could score a dramatic late winner, celebrate in front of us while kissing the badge on his shirt and I still wouldn't boo.

Doubt he'll play. We may see the lesser-spotted Danny Fox.

You Irish lads have no sense of adventure.

Imagine the thread on here on sunday. :)

In the southern daily echo,Jay Rod has been giving an interview to say if he were to score he will not celebrate..also it states he will start???

I miss the `like it' button, having hated it when it was first introduced.

There may well be some sarcastic, or ironically described, ironic booing.

"It is a good town to be from. It is full of nice people and it is something to proud of. It will be nice to see the Burnley fans and the players I have played with. It will be a nice occasion."

I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing him at some point. Especially now that Dani Osvaldo has a 3 game ban.

I'm sure that he'll play some part.

Second half sub, for a nice round of applause.

I will ignore him during and before the game, after all he will be trying to score against the team that I love, after the game I will clap him as a local lad who has done well and is a credit to the town, BFC and his family.

Jay trained to be a plumber and said it was a big wrench to leave Burnley! ;D :D

Seems like he's kept his head screwed on despite his success. A credit to his family and a credit to Burnley. It's great to see him doing well but I hope he has a stinker today.

Clattenburg said of Jay:

"You're no different now you've played for England. You always used to be like this at Burnley."

:D
