Two clubs with 2 horrible classless managers it's a pity that they both couldn't have been thrashed.

BFS put out a mainly youth / reserve team didn't he?
He's more arsed about not being relegated from the PL ,same for the chuckle bros who are in charge, so he won't be fired over going out of the cup.

If ever a team wanted to bow out of this famous competition it was West Ham today. Big Sam had already gone public before the game by saying that the Premier League would take priority. What sort of team he puts out in their big mid week game remains to be seen. I feel sorry for the fans who made a decent journey to the City Ground, but were let down big time by their team. Forest did not have to play well to win this one. Big Sam give them the game on a plate. As for his own future at Upton Park, you just feel it won`t be long before he gets his P45.

I know this is a football website mkmel but I had the game recorded too.
Perhaps just post the topic as Nottm Forest v West Ham?

I don't think I've ever heard Big Fat Samuel have a good word to say about the opposition after being beaten in the Premier League. I expect the same happened today in the cup.

Mel makes a valid point. I don't like either of these two either. I'll bet BFS's not sniggering at the home fans after this one.

I can see him back a Deadwood shortly.

Only saw the 2nd half but West Ham were truly dreadful. Forest could have scored 10! Mind you I only recognised about 3 or 4 West Ham players. Shame Southampton put out their first team yesterday!

I'm really happy that our lads played a strong Southampton yesterday. It was a really test of our potential for PL. Huge respect was earned by the Clarets yesterday even though we eventually lost. Hope the lads are buzzing with confidence, they should be!

You have to think West Ham are just one relegation from disaster. They want to move to the Olympic stadium and fill it every other week, whilst continuing to pay ridiculous wages and transfer fees. According to BFS, they're thin on the ground...feed the dragon that's what I say...more January panic buys to stay in the 'promised land'.

Just plain stupid.

I totally agree that the two managers are two of the most graceless individuals you could ever meet. The trait attributed to BFS of never giving any credit to the opposition is equally shared by Forest's poison dwarf . Horrible, horrible men.

I feel a "Dyche to West Ham" thread is imminent..!

Imagine being a West Ham fan that's got up early, paid for transport and match ticket for a game that's live on TV, only to find out Fat Sam's picked the reserves.

A total lack of respect for the fans.

Let's face it they haven't a chance over 2 legs against City.

Patterson had a great game. I thought he played well against us in the first half earlier this season.

and dyche always gives crdit to the opposition does he..? not what i`ve been hearing in his interviews, along with his tiresome references to how small your squad is, and how much money all other clubs have..

At least our managers lips move when he speaks.

@ Rhodes

Go away and read what he said about, just for one example, Huddersfield and then come back and apologise for being a graceless prick - you are like one of those pathetic trolls that pollute the LET

Jordan - it's a bit pointless praising the opposition when you beat them all.

As for Fat Sam, he only made 3 changes didn't he? Hardly playing the reserves.

Ignore Saxo (sorry Rhodes)...he can't let go.

Big Sam

Rileybobs -- just to put the record straight, West Ham had nine changes from the team that started against Fulham, only Diarra and Maiga kept their places. Having said that, they really were dire.

So Jordan/Saxo, which part of Dyche saying the opposition we play most weeks have a far bigger budget than we have and the fact we have achieved 2nd spot so far with approximately 13 players this season is he bul5hiting about? Please enlighten us you underachieving, total joke, soon to be bankrupt (hopefully) piece of crap of a club supporter?

Phew, that was sweet getting that off my chest :)

Big Sam gives a good impression of a dead man walking this evening...with David Moyes just a few steps behind him.

SSN could be interesting viewing tomorrow morning.

Can we lock Sean in someone's car boot for a while?

I thought Saxo would have been in a better mood today, well with his boyhood idols seeing off Oldham at Anfield.
