Awesome, especially when you consider we were unlucky to lose against 'Well and we beat ICT, Utd and Killie on the road.

Very, very good stuff boys! :star: :star:

Fantastic run of consistency, great to see. Without getting too carried away, it is clear that we are on the right track and have made important strides forward this season. 2 more wins already this campaign than in the whole of last :D

Our last 9?

WWWWLWWWW. :)

I'm sure if Reynolds had been playing against Motherwell it would have been a straight nine wins.

yes , there have been three results that irk me ( the Well result and the two Hertz flops ).

Those 9 points would have put us right up raCelicks erse . ( can I refrase that last comment ?)

Exactly, freaky, breakaway goal for M/well when we should have beaten them.

That was 9 home league wins on the spin.

During that run we never won a league game away from home.

The Skovdal run was only homes matches.

The sna' ba' game versus the Tims made in 10 in a row IIRC.

The Tim game made it 9 home league wins. We then lost 3-0 to Livi trying to make it 10.

In the middle of the 9 home league wins Livi knocked us out the LC at Pittodrie.

Great run, and in the last 4, I don't even think we've played that well.
Ross County, Killie & last night in particular, we were dogged and determined.

Dundee United we were decent enough and by far better than them without being fluent or free flowing.

Hard run coming up, and we need to try and play a bit better football whilst keeping the doggedness about us.
Inverness (h), Motherwell (a), cup semi, then the Dhims away in the Cup.
Four huge games.

Aye it's a great run and long may it continue.

I do have one concern though, and it's our lack of a good striker. While Vernon works very hard he seldom really is a direct goal threat. He is playing much better than he has for a while, but is he ever going to reach any of those long balls up the park? It doesn't really look like it. When he does have a shot on goal (which is a pretty rare event), it is normally wide.

Magennis is still young and is a strong player, but he rarely scores. Zola lacks the reaction speed and mobility necessary for a good striker at this level.

While we have been winning matches three of the last four have been 1-0. None of the goals in those last four games came from a recognised striker. It's good that there are goals throughout our team, but we need someone playing as a striker who can bang the ball into the back of the net on a regular basis. That might make these narrow wins into something a bit more comfortable.

As we saw against Motherwell, in th

Agree with the need for a goalscorer thought.
Canna be that hard to find a Bulgarian poacher.
