The other day I responded to the Phil Everly RIP thread. I posted a song from an album which I thought was entitled "Green River", I was corrected by Everlyclaret who informed me that the albums title was "Stories we could Tell" from 1972.

I haven't heard it for many years so I played it on youtube while flicking around CM. There's a song on it called "Three Armed, Poker-Playin' River Rat" which got me wondering.

Whats the craziest song title that you've ever heard of?

Not sure if this has been done before and its been a while since we last had a music thread.

Would be very interested to hear CMadders titles. I'll kick it off with "Cne Eyed One Horned Flying Purple People Eater" - view external link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rx47qrH1GRs)

Yo La Tengo have some bonkers song/album titles. One of their best albums is I Am Not Afraid of You and I Will Beat Your Ass.

Flaming Lips also. Back to back song titles on their sixth album - Pilot Can at the Queer of God followed by Oh, My Pregnant Head (Labia in the Sunlight)

White Zombies best album "Astro-Creep: 2000 ? Songs of Love, Destruction and Other Synthetic Delusions of the Electric Head" contains "El Phantasmo and the Chicken-Run Blast-O-Rama".

Todd Rundgrens had some bizarre titles.

"An Elpee's Worth of Toons", "Tic Tic Tic It Wears Off", "Dogfight Giggle", "Just Another Onionhead/Dada Dali", and "When the S**t Hits the Fan down on Sunset Blvd." to a few. - view external link (Todd Rundgren - An elpee's worth of tunes - YouTube:)

I was driving a renter in the States when one of those Cajun Hillbilly types was on the radio and I kid you not, he sang live about his paramour, "I wouldn't take her to a dogfight because I'm sure she would win" I thought the same sentiments about my wife of that time! I need to Google who the artist was and then you will believe..!

Surprised that McLusky and Primus haven't been mentioned:

Primus have albums called: Sailing the Seas of Cheese, Pork Soda, Animals Should Not Try To Act Like People... Along with songs called: Mr. Krinkle, The Air Is Getting Slippery, Hamburger Train, Shake Hands With Beef, Camelback Cinema, Greet the Sacred Cow, My Friend Fats, Mary The Ice Cube, Moron TV.

McLusky have great lyrics, not all would fit on this post. Here are some album titles: My Pain and Sadness is More Sad And Painful Than Yours and The Difference Between You And Me Is I'm Not On Fire. Songs-wise, they have: Clique Application Form, Hymn For New Cars, Dave, Stop Killing Prostitutes, Falco Vs The Young Canoeist, Rock Against Single Parents, Rice Is Nice, KK******** What Were You Thinking?, Random Celebrity Insult Generator, Lightsabre Cocksucking Blues, The World Loves Us And Is Our Bitch, Without MSG I Am Nothing, Whiteliberalonwhiteliberalaction and of course, Alan Is A Cowboy Killer - which starts with the line "
