Devastating loss.

The club twitter was really patronising to me the other day when I asked if Ryan Noble had left, and I knew I was right

It was never really clear how long he'd signed for was it? Being reported that it was a half-season deal but I thought the club had said it was a year before. A punt that didn't come off.

Club site still says it was a year. Tony posted on here at the time that it was only 6 months, though. - view external link (http://www.burnleyfootballclub.com/team/player-profile/index.aspx?playerid=442135&tcmuri=933809)

Wrote in article that the 6 month speculation was right, that was what I was told at the time, and the club announcement of a year was wrong.

I thought it was a strange one at the time and he certainly didn't look anything like good enough from the games I saw him play in the under-21/development team. - view external link (http://www.clarets-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/noble_leaves_turf_moor_821384/index.shtml)

The level that he's gone to suggests that he was nowhere near good enough.

Thanks for the memories.

From Sunderland and a few prem appearances to Burnley in Champ and not playing, to Gateshead :? Either something wrong with the fella or he is just proper gash.

Noble was really highly rated a couple of years ago, what has gone wrong?

Was with SD at Watford I think.

The club Twitter is patronising, I've found that myself on several occasions. Fine for sugar coated p.r and player re tweets though.

I'll never forget the home game against Yeovil where he came off the bench and chased a lost cause out for an opposition goal kick. He will be missed, Barnes has some big and very clean boots to fill.

13-01-2014, 06:13 PM
And some of you thought we'd have to lose a striker after signing Barnes and thought it might be Ings. :D

13-01-2014, 06:14 PM
did he play Yeovil at home? And there's me thinking I'd never seen him play for us.

"A punt that did not pay off" I can think of very similar word to punt.

13-01-2014, 06:23 PM
now now you are not Alan Pardew

13-01-2014, 06:32 PM
As well as his two substitute appearances, he is also first reserve for Jedward.

My Sunderland mate said when we signed him that he has the ability and potential but not sure of the attitude
On hearing today's news his comment is "Another waste of talent. Once you goto Gateshead your career has gone!!!"
