News just in

Warwick has just pushed ahead of Towneley in the votes.

They have 2% more than us.

We really need to push back and gain the lead again so we can win the Connect 10 Museums at night opportunity.

He have had a fantastic response so far and victory is within our grasp.

Voting ends on Tuesday at 5pm so it is essential that we get all the votes we can before that time.

Towneley Hall is the only North West Venue still in the running for the opportunity to host one of the artists this year.

Please show your support by voting for Towneley Hall and telling others to do so too.

Also check out the little video I made for it

Please guys, if you haven't already voted, will you do it?
Burnley always seems to get negative coverage in the press. How many times have you seen someone interviewed on the tv and cringed? The Clarets are doing a great job of raising the profile of the town and this is another opportunity to show that we aren't all 'Dingles'
If you're proud of your town, vote for Towneley. - view external link (http://www.culture24.org.uk/places-to-go/museums-at-night/art462286-Connect10-Vote-Alex-Hartley)

So it looks like it has collected 1000s of Email addresses and can just choose itself who wins. Hmm

'So it looks like it has collected 1000s of Email addresses and can just choose itself who wins. Hmm'

I didn't vote for that very reason. For those who did, expect sh1t emails from them in the not so distant future.

As for why they took it offline, like you say, it's so they can choose the winner themselves.

All in all, a very pointless task, unfortunately.

Although we can now longer see the percentages, last we heard Warwick had over taken again and we were behind by 10 % so please help by voting, only two days left till vote closure.

E mail addresses should not be used for anything other than this vote. As it would be illegal to do so. You can opt into receiving news letters but this is your choice. Other than that the e mails which have been used will be deleted. According to the competitions literature.

They are a legitimate company who work within the law so you can rest assured that you will see no ill effects from Voting for Towneley.

We have been doing exceptionally well.

We are capable of winning, but do need as many votes as we can muster.

Any help for Towneley to win would be excellent,

It would be a shame to have come so far to be left defeated.

I am going to ask everyone to help by voting for Towneley and think it would be ace if you did too.

That's a real shame. Whilst folk on here voted, was there anything in the local papers/radio, drumming up support?

I am surprised only 3k votes. Disappointing, knowing how Burnley folk rally.
