FFS! get it right!

Etienne Verveer and Andy Roddie are to enter into a civil partnership BUT ONLY if Goodwillie officiates in a cassock and DM gets to watch.

What's so difficult about that?

Well, for a start, we'll need some muscle sitting at the back to stop Jazzer fae turning up and laying abody oot.

I'm lost after a thousand posts of all these facts, i hope to feck that someone has been keeping notes. So far, all i've got is:

1. We're definitely signing both Goodwillie and McKay, but possibly only by exchanging Goodwillie for McKay via St Johnstone.

2. Goodwillie and Josh Magennis have history, which Josh's dad (Ettiene) is not happy about.

3. The stress of all of the above is causing a drastic decline in DM's health, and as a result he may not last the thread.

4. Andy Roddie is somehow behind it all.

Have i missed anything out?

By the look on her face and the way she is sitting, looks like she has hemorrhoids.

While talking about someone who may or may not have carried on after she said NO.

1st we have had a PIMP, teasing us
We now have 2 new members indulging in teasing
And we have 1000 posters ready to burst from frustration, and DM exhausted.

So in a thread about an alleged Rapist, we have

Surely if we lose out to them it could only be because he wants to be near his daftie pals for some comical japes out in Stirling. If so, let him get on with it. It'll keep Roddie busy with all his overseeing anyway, though would not imagine Etienne would be impressed.

It is better, but Vernon has been firing blanks for huge spells and is more a target man these days. I was never that impressed by Rooney but his last 2 years with ICT were decent looking at the stats but sometimes a team just works for a player. Vernon was pretty good with Maguire along side him but has been pretty rubbish since.

The last two are fairly safe bets , a striker is a requirement but I'm not sure we don't need to concentrate on the defence rather than mid , I've seen Tate twice , it's early days but he scares the bejesus out of me so far could so easily have cost us in the hibs game too
Hope he turns out but tbh someone of his experience should slot right in

I thought did well v Hibs. Even his passing out of defence looked good.

Problem yesterday was 3 fold. 1. Robson didn't get back to help Tate. 2. Tate was up against a proper winger with decent pace which he couldn't match. 3. He doesn't seem the type of full back who can get forward an help the attacks.

In short he is a central defender and cover at that.

I think folk are being much too hard on Tate.

He was decent against Hibs despite it being his first game in ages. One or two mistakes but fewer than Anderson or Flood have made in recent games.

I also thought he started off ok against ICT with some good use of the ball and decent tackling. His problems were all to do with pace especially against a fast winger. He should never have been picked - that he was isn't his fault.

My difficulty with him is, assuming Hector comes back, I really don't see where he's going to play unless we have a lot of injuries and suspensions. He'll be behind Reynolds, Conso, Anderson and Hector for a central defence place and the only time I'd consider him for full back would be a backs to the wall job against the Dhims at Porkheid.

Fair enough, but i did not feel comfortable at all with him at full back on Sat. I really can't see him improving his pace at his age and being the odd shape he is. As i said in another thread he did cross in two lovely crosses but i'd rather he was in the middle of defence instead of Russell.

Having a quick look I make it that Blackburn have already put out 6 players on loan, potentially 2 other players on loan (including Goodwillie) and a couple clubs looking to sign one of their defenders for A?3M.

If they all leave they may only have 2 strikers at the club. Apparently, they are interested in Martyn Waghorn (a striker). Millwall interested in D J Campbell from Blackburn.

With this many traffic/loan deals to negotiate etc. I can understand why the Goodwillie situation has taken time to resolve.

Looks likely to me that Blackburn want to go with three recognised strikers. They have 2 and are looking to get in one other. Goodwillie is therefore likely to leave.

Goodwillie played for 90 minutes and 4 first team players played in total with only one of them being substituted.

Some Blackburn fans seem happy for Goodwillie to stay and be on the bench since they have loaned out some of their other strikers.

They must be confident to get another striker in in January if they are going to let him go. I am not sure a decision has been made by Blackburn as yet. - view external link (http://tinyurl.com/qh639tz)

I dont think it matters too much who comes in - we are covered on the wings and really only have 1 place through the middle. I dont see it making that much difference unless we either get someone strong that can hold off a couple of Centre Halfs or the midfield start pushing forward more.

Certainly Rooney looks better than most if not all of our strikers but I dont think he will make much if any difference. Goodwillie would have had some sort of potential but again I dont see him making a difference through the middle or on the wing.

if not through the middle or on the wing, where would he have made a difference?

Not fussed one way or another.
His on field record recently is p1sh, and he couldn't get a game for an inferior team to us.

Seems to have lost what he had two years ago.

An expensive gamble, as the pikeys know, they spunked shed loads on him and basically wasted a good chunk of their budget on him...shame that >:)

Goodwillie has gone backwards since his unsuccessful move south.
The fact that he couldn't make a go of it back at the pikeys proves that.
Overrated, overpriced and overpayed, let's draw a line under this and move on.
For me Rooney is a better prospect for now then we can sign Boyd in the summer.

the weegie fiend was a pretty pointless signing, a (expensive)player who cant play in the two most important games we have.

Rooney cant be any worse than zola (can he), plus he can play in the cups, so im happy enough atm

Blackburn apparently in for some striker called Waghorn fae Leicester.

And QPR cooled interest in Rhodes cos Blackburn want too much.

Those two things would probably increase chances of Goodwillie leaving them.

seems to be a common problem. Blackburn over paid for players in signing fees and wages and now wanting to recoup as much as possible.

Sounds like despite not signing for us he may have come for a night out in Aberdeen anyway - view external link (http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/two-men-left-injured-after-3064462)
