The only thing that might rouse any dormant passion for the England national team is Jay making the squad.

Considering he's not playing as the main striker 9 in 22 (without any penalties) is pretty decent going.

For me he was the complete player when he left Burnley, and he has become even better at Southampton - and England. Llalana( I can't spell his) appears to get all the publicity, but its Jay who is getting the goals and making them.
This is an ongoing discussion i have with my friends, who consider other strikers are well ahead of him in the England pecking order. I can only think of Rooney as a better English forward.

A very good goal again yesterday, but there was a bad miss as well. He is still young and still improving, however.

Imo the only thing stopping him being a top 4 player atm is his mindset. He always looks to lack confidence to me
