Might of missed this on other posts but sent off for violent conduct today,

Does that mean a 2 match ban? And does it count in the league cup,

Think they still use banks as a back up keeper

usually 3 games
Not 100% sure if it will apply to just league games.
If not, I think he'll miss the semi final

By the sound of Tommy Wright's interview today I reckon they'll be appealing it.

They'll appeal Anderson's, but he doubts they'd win a Mannus appeal was how I read it.

Well he said both Mannus & Stevenson should have got a yellow at most. :?

I know it's 3 games.
My take on it is he'll miss the semi final as violent conduct applies to all games.

...and?

Banks was excellent in the home 0-0 draw earlier in season

I'd rather Mannus played

We shouldnt have to worry about who is in goals for them. If we turn up we will beat them.

He also said...
Wright thought an appeal against his goalkeeper's red card might not be as advisable.

"With appeals, you have to prove beyond reasonable doubt and that can be difficult," he said.

Shaughnessy missed league games after his red card in the cup so surely it should apply the other way round.

According to the usually reliable SPL Stats lad on Twitter, it's a 2 game ban for violent conduct. St Johnstone have 2 league games before the semi, so Mannus will be back for that. I think Mannus is a much better goalie than Banks, so it's a shame for us.

Amusingly, HMFC only have 1 league game before the semi, so Stevenson will miss that game + the semi-final, which greatly reduces the chances of them beating ICT I would think.
