Thought I'd start this thread today as I'm up at this ungodly hour, and the fact we won the last time I started een!

Hopefully Rooney will feature at some point, even better if he can get off the mark straight away.

Heart says 2-0 Dons, heid says 1-1.

1 - 3 for the Dons - so says my heart & heid.

Pawlett, McGinn, and Roooooooneeeeeeey...

Unless the refs fae Motherwell/Hamilton - then the most we can hope for is una point.

Tough one this for sure, they have been reasonably their best form of late until the Celtic game hopefully that puts them on the slide

We seem to be better away from home so I'm going for a narrow win

1-2

Reynolds and Robson

Hard fought 2-0 or 3-1.

A striker to score at some point would be nice.

I cant see it being an exciting game. Neither team will want to lose so it will be a cagey affair.

So I fully expect todays result to be a draw. We haven't had a draw for ages so we are due one and I would be quite happy with a draw.

I just hope we come through the game without any injuries or suspensions.

Be good for Rooney to get on and open his goal scoring account.
Cagey, tight game I expect but hopefully were fully focused and firing on all cylinders for next weekend.

I wouldn't be surprised if we lost today.

The players, and the fans judging by a lot on here are focusing on next week as opposed to today.

I think Motherwell will be more up for the game today, and will win 2-1.

If we are winning, I would look at taking Anderson and Robson off early as well.

Need to win today, but also we have a very attacking bench so if anyone is carrying a knock, give them the weekend off.

But also we had the Alba curse last week

They should be queueing up to clatter into Lasley nice and early, then get someone else to put him on his erse again. That'll soften him up. Lasley's the one who makes them tick, stop him and you stop Motherwell. It might also give him something to think about other than traipsing round after the referee for the entire game, bending his ear about this, that and the third, which is exactly what he was up to at Pittodrie on Boxing Day.

The simple solution is to get it right up him from the first whistle.

First half we may have been slightly the better team but it seemed marginal to me.

Rooney looks like he will be a good signing, but doesn't seem quite match fit. He's not quite as sharp as he might be, but then he has only been with us 2 days.

Anderson and Reynolds excellent in defence for us. Can't help feeling the ref is a f*ckin' balloon though. As usual we seem to be playing against him too.

However a draw would not be a disaster, but a win would give us a cushion against them.

Rose tinted specs of course, but I thought we dominated the first half. Looked dangerous going forward and solid at the back. Hopefully more of the same in the second half and we should score.

What annoys me most stooge is that the above players all seem to get far more leeway than other players.

How often do you see Foran and Lasley commit 2 or 3 bookable offences before being booked then another player (not just Aberdeen players) get a booking for a fairly insignificant foul?

If I was a referee players like Foran, Goodwin and Lasley would rarely finish a game.
