David Cameron has chaired a meeting of COBRA, with representatives from all agencies involved. After extensive discussions they came to the conclusion that the best solution to the flooding on the south coast would be to dam rivers and divert the water to the northern counties of England.
Cameron was quoted as saying he realised it would not be a very popular decision in some areas, but as it was mostly wasteland with very little employment it would cause less disruption than it has in the south. - view external link (www.wedontgiveatossaboutthenorth.co.uk)
