i used to have to cross A66 every other week for 2 yr! middle of night and early morning on return.
believe me ive seen it all on that road. :s
A9 upto Perth gets bad too

Weather systems created from excessive rain in Indonesia, in turn is influencing America's jet stream & polar vortex, which is causing a conveyor belt of deep lows over the UK.

Good to see they've ascertained the root of the problem
