Happy birthday Happyclaret12. Can't offer any restaurant suggestions sorry, but hope it's an enjoyable evening for you both.
Moving on, will you (or have you) posted re Cheltenham this year?
I haven't been on this board much lately so may have missed one, or do you not bother any more?

Nino's on Bacup Rd. If you're lucky Danny might be in.

thanks for the nino's tip...will check that out.
Just the 1 bet for me so far Sabden...BIG BUCKS in the stayers...had a decent bet @ 5/2...forget the last run when he was ridden from the front...that was just to get a run into him...should be shorter than 5/2 and will be spot on on the day...done loads of prep work for other races and will post a thread week prior to chelt once ground is properly forecast.

HappybirthdayHappyclaret12.
Th'art nowt but a nipper compared to some on here.
Claret Tony is 98 and 3 quarters, Redbeard is 370, Ashington is old enough to be Redbeard's smarter brother and Spades is (cough) 21.

If you like curry, try The North Street which, oddly enough, is on North Street in Rawtenstall. :)

Cheers for that happy! Remember a few years back you posted a good few weeks in advance and then on the first day they were coming in one after the other at allsorts of double figure prices! the most profitable day i ever had, for not a great outlay the doubles and trebles came to a very tidy amount!
PS. and ninos highly recommended, couldnt think of the earlier!

Many Happy Returns young man. I hope you have an enjoyable day. I was the new 50 a couple of weeks back (60), enjoy every moment as the years will fly by. I hope your meal turns out to be just perfect.

Happy birthday. I can confirm having been 50 for 11 months, it is a very good age to be. Definitely my best year yet! I hope it is for you too. I look forward to reading your Cheltenham musings.

Thanks all
its been just the same as being 49 so far so happy days.
still just the one bet at cheltenham and BIG BUCKS is now a top priced 2/1...ladbrokes are only 5/4...their odds compilers are just about the best in the business and I agree with their quote...done a stats sheet for every race at the festival which I can only complete 2 days prior to racing on most races but will definitely post something like a lucky 15 a week prior to the festival.
