What are your thoughts about the 'Mail on Line' who have listed the following as the best.

1. John Motson (20%)
2. Gary Lineker (16.%)
3. Brian Moore (9%)
4. Chris Kamara (8.%)
5. Alan Green (8%)
6. Andy Gray (7%)
7. Jimmy Hill (6%)
8. Alan Shearer (6%)
9. Martin Tyler (6%)
10. Robbie Savage (5.%)

Are these the best?

It's noticeable that neither Hansen, Lawreson, Keown or Coleman figure.
And thankfully Claridge is missing.

But Lily Savage included?! :? - view external link (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2403933/Top-10-sports-commentators-pundits-time-John-Motson-tops-list.html)

Alan Green is my choice for No 1.

Always though Gerald Sinstadt was very good.

No David Coleman and the greatest of all Kenneth Wolstenholme, never forget his comment at the end of the 66 world cup final. "They think it's all over, it is now, it's 4" as Hurst puts the ball in the net.

I really don't like Alan Green, but then again I like nothing from Northern Ireland.

From the old Radio Two commentaries.

Two legends of the airwaves,

Bryon Butler and Peter Jones - pure quality.
