All those ***dreds of millions spent & they're still fielding yard dogs like Milner, Lescott & that centre back who thinks he's Jesus in Champions League games.

Mind you, it took Chelsea 10 years with the oil money to win big ears, just shows you, it's no as easy as it looks.

Watched the match last night and Man City despite spending zillions are still well short of winning The Champions League...Zabaleta,Lescott, Milner, Kolarov all looked well short of what is required at that level.

Hart & Kompany both played extremely well against a Barca side that were happy to consolidate on their win in Manchester.

Probably another new manager for City if they fail to win the league and maybe yer man Klopp from Dortmund.

Milner is a great utility player and was man of the match at Bayern Munich in the group stages.

City played well last night but Lescott was a bit off the pace and that cost them.

Toure and Fernandinho controlled the midfield for most of the match, I thought. Aguero's constant injuries/lack of fitness has cost them dear this season.

Excellent summary! I can't understand why Milner isn't valued more - he always does a good job and can play in several different positions. But everyone's an expert I suppose.
For me, City are weak in central defence apart from Kompany - that is where they should be stregthening, not buying more forwards!

Nastasic looked good in his first season. Has been ropey when he's played this season. Lescott would be better if he got a few games behind him. Demichelis is far too slow for top level football.

Messi was the difference last night.

Man City were totally outclassed v Barca and were like Oscar Pistorius...Lost both legs, but still managed 4 shots on target.

I've never rated Milner to be honest, he's just not a player that I've ever liked.

Just my opinion like & I agree that squads need good utility players.

If Nasri had scored what was a fairly easy chance just before half time, the crowd would've got on the home team's backs.

Small margins in these top matches.
