I saw what I think was Danny's white Audi sports car outside the Turf at about 11 am this morning.I assume someone was giving him a lift to see the specialist in Leeds...Fingers crossed its not too serious.

I don't think the club will release anything ahead of Sean Dyche's normal weekly pre-game press conference which, unless things have changed, is normally on a Thursday. So it looks like another sleepless night for the worriers.:s

Nixon reckons 4 weeks ! we need too get someone on loan ASAP.

Any on-loan signing would have to fulfil so many different criteria laid down by SD (and be within budget) that it is unlikely such a player exists or is available at this time. SD never seems that keen or optimistic during interviews on the idea of adding to and possibly disturbing the group mentality.

I agree that it would be great to bring in a quality striker/midfielder on loan to help get us over the line before the final round of matches are played.

I'd prefer the club treated the fans like grown-ups rather than have important news provided courtesy of a fat, third-rate, chancer of a hack like Nixon.

(If true)

Isn't the 'fat' bit there just a tad hypocritical, Fatty ? :D

I'd hazard a guess that the club got some bad news several hours ago, but are trying to delay releasing the info until we can coincide it with news if a loan signing.

Just a hunch, but I can't see why they'd delay good news. Assuming he's seen an expensive private specialist the results would have been back pretty soon after the tests/scans.

What are we wanting the club to do? Show us his medical records? It's a strange world that of sport, if this was just an employee their health details would be no business of anybody other than themselves and their boss for fear of it damaging their future prospects. If BFC were a PLC they may be forced to disclose it since it may have a material effect on the finances of that company. But we aren't.

Enough of that rubbish though, tell us what's going on already BFC >:)

why wouldn't the club keep good news quiet?

Charlton think he's not playing. If he's fit he might be.

Even so I think Ashley will be able to do a job for us. He looked good second half against a better team than Charlton

Re the comment about Leeds being a better team than Charlton ...Charlton have kept 4 clean sheets in their last 5 games. Leeds have conceded 11 goals in their last 3 games ! Just saying.

Danny Ings is set for a short spell on the sidelines following a further scan on his injured ankle.

Sean Dyche confirmed the specialist was happy with the way the injury has responded to treatment.

And with further common-sense care things should move forward over the coming weeks

Sean Dyche will hold his weekly press conference tomorrow, where he will hopefully elaborate on the above.
