Sounds "weird" but stick with it.

At present you can "lay" Burnley not to win promotion at 5/1 on. That means you bet A?10 and get a return of A?50. (Betfair)

Normally, I wouldn't advocate backing against The Clarets but, if worst comes to worst, it will be a little sweetener to drown your sorrows with.

And, if you don't win, you'll be more than happy because we got promotion.

Almost a no lose bet ;D

I'll get my tin hat ;D

Good idea, I'll stick 25 on that.

No need for a tin hat for me PNW, it's what I'd class as 'using your head' by cushioning the blow whichever the result.

1/9 on with sporting index.
The downside is 19/1 to finish top.

A for "softening the blow" I backed us before last nights games to make the play offs at 9/2.
Hope it is the easiest A?50 I have ever lost!!

Or, for all you Uber Confident Charlies...

Why not lump your house on a certain thing ;D

Burnley still at 5/1 on to gain promotion (includes the play-offs)

5-1 on to get promoted and 9-1 to fail ???

I'm no rocket scientist but even I can see that can't be right ?

If it's true tell the board to get the Prem money split on it.

"5-1 on to get promoted and 9-1 to fail ???"

I think you'll find the 9/1 is in the Bookies favour - individuals can't "lay" that :blue:
