View Full Version : Clarets Away Support Average

Well, just like we said earlier in the year when some of the more local fixtures for the Clarets were counted, our overall average away following would significantly increase.

Good to see this has now moved us into 7th (1816) position overall, behind the expected big City clubs.

Oh, it appears as though one other "big" club is on the slide...now in 13th position (1293)!

Odds on this tumbling below 1000 by the end of the season?

There was nothing average about the Claret's away support on Saturday.

I'd be interested to see a ranking based on each club's average away support as a percentage of average home support. I'm sure someone with a spreadsheet programe on their computer could produce it. Go to it Clarets.. think we will show up very strongly !

the team ranked 13th already have a total away following of over 23000, so their average can't drop below 1000.

and I agree, there was nothing average about our following on saturday. more of the same a Watford, Barnsley, Blackpool & Reading please...

The figure you are looking at fails to include Wolves who have a great away following and I think are second behind "Weeds"
In fact, I think their average was boosted by a following of over 9000 to MK Dons...
