I don't seem to have read it on here so I'm going to say it. Why haven't we tried sticking Treacy upfront with Barnes, I was half expecting it on Sat when Vokes was injured. He has a brilliant shot on him, skill and I think he would link up well with Barnes. Just saying...

Would be either Treacy or Stanislas for me.Dont think we have the squad to play with anything other than 2 up front

The idea has been discussed on the linked thread, Sijod. - view external link (http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=104&fid=297&sty=2&act=1&mid=2111361250&page=1)

Thanks redbeard. For me Stanislas is too lightweight alongside Barnes, I would much prefer Treacy throwing his weight around (no pun intended)

I was thinking this line up for the Watford trip:

Heaton

Trippier (Baird)
Duff
Shackell
Mee

Stanislas
Jones
Arfield
Wallace

Kightly
Barnes

Subs:
Cisak
Long
Lafferty
Edgar
Treacy
Gilchrist

I agree sijod, part of Volks strengths was to have the physical presence to hold people off with his back to the goal, turn and distribute. Treacy also is comfortable in that situation but without the aerial bit.

Maybe that has been practised this week, we don't know. Interesting to see if it's tried.

I'd have Wallace in for Kightly (Marney not back yet?)

Otherwise seems a good line up Fungus.
