Just got to say that there has been a fantastic rivalry between both sets of fans this season. As a derby fan I think that it's great that one of us are going up and shows the just how unpredictable the division is. I don't think that this is what both sets of fans had envisaged at the start of the season... Tough run in though

Not so sure about the "rivalry" bit, bud, but good luck in the play offs anyway.

I'm talking about a competitive rivalry there is no history between us but the fact were chasing you makes it a rivalry.

Prior to the game at t'Turf and the daylight robbery (according to one Manager and one set of fans) there was never much rivalry or ill feeling either.

At least you have managed to keep it competitive unlike that set of moaning minnies down the road from you who came to us on the back of a 14 match unbeaten run, got spanked and dropped away never to be heard of again.

Both sets of fans should be basking in the fact their respective teams have performed way above expectation this season, Derby probably more so since McLaren arrived.

I will be happy and relaxed once our promotion is secured but until that is confirmed I will not be gloating or trying to Lord it over anyone.

Exactly mate! Not sure about the previous comment though if you were that far ahead surely you would be promoted...

Welcome Deano

I'm with Alp on this one.

They are the closest side to us in the league - that makes them our rivals.

Its not mathematically certain yet - so there is still some rivalry left between now and when the fat lady sings.

Lets hope she's doing her warm up exercises by about 7pm tonight!

Both should go up Burnley as 2nd best team (although we may yet finish top if derby think they can catch us by the same reasoning we could catch Leicester but dought it.)Derby 3rd best team should win the play offs.

Cheers lads it would be a miracle if we caught you lot and with your consistency I can see you finishing second but I can still dream ey

I'm not going to sugar coat this one Deano, I have nothing against Derby despite one or two of your fans (well DCFCBloke at least) appearing on here and being more scary than John Merrick.

If Derby get Wigan, QPR or even Reading (whose fans annoy me)then I'll want Derby to go up. If you get Bournemouth then I'll be cheering for Eddies boys. Its an underdog thing simple as.
