To settle an argument, how many fans did Wigan bring to the turf in the premier league season, if I remember rightly I thought their support was **** poor with 200 fans coming (slight exaggeration there) but my mate says they brought more than rovers did that season and they more or less filled their section of the cricket field, I can't find their attandance only the full attendance for the gam, does anyone know?

No more than 400, remember it well.

The Beasts infamous slip sticks well in the mind.

Several taxis. It was pathetic for such a near game for them

I remember their support being awful, I forget about the whole beast/penny parts of the game :-/
Wish I'd not asked now ha ha

I do actually have a picture of their following to the Turf in the Premier season. It looked about 5-600.

It was pathetic.

Probably clashed with Wigan Rugby playing at home or the annual pie-eating contest :D

It was very poor and many of them used the state of the CFS as an excuse not to pay the 30 odd quid for the ticket.

Was all highly amusing at the time listening to them bleat about it.

In fact, there wasn't even 5-600 of them.

Here's a picture during the first half of that game. I remember thinking how poor it was at the time and having to take a picture for those not at the game.

Good to see Clarets in The Cricket Field stand.

I wonder if they'll have that section for home fans next season if we go up.

It will be massively detrimental to our chances if they don't.
