Look we won't sell anywhere near 20,000, one of the reasons being that at least 25% of Rorherham will be going on holiday next week ( Londoners don't go on holiday ) basically Oriient fans have been aware they might be in the play offs all season, so have delayed there hols.
Also , it is on TV and busses have been hard to come by and it is far too expensive, orient fans can have their dinner at home, go to their local pub, strloll out , nip on the Tube for half fan hour, and be back home for six.

As long as the team turns up, that's all that really matters !!!

Crikey Millerstale, you know an awful lot about Orient fans. Are you married to one?

I don't get this obsession with the number of tickets we've sold.

Whatever the final total is the important people will be there.

Today will be the biggest indicator I would have thought.
If our little group is anything like average the figure sold so far is about right, 5 tickets with 3 being season ticket holders.

It doesn't matter how many we take you know for certain that after the first game next season you will get the usual numpties asking where all the other plastic fans are that went to Wembley.

Yep, I'll just be happy if whoever turns up supports the team well, more people doesn't necessarily mean more noise.

We averaged just shy of 3000 more people in home attendences this season which is much more important then how much you bring to a one off match, in their back garden, with split revenue.

Either way who gives a flying ****. It's all just dick waving.

Sales pass 12,000...
Wembley tickets have seen a surge in sales this morning, with over 4,000 sold in the first hour of general sale, taking the Millers sales over 12,000.

We're at a distinct disadvantage whenever we play a London club at Wembley, just as we were when we played Dagenham. On forums, it seems that Palace, Charlton, Hammers & Fulham fans are going to support the O's, but as has already been said, none of it matters as long as the team is there & they perform...UTM!!

If the final was in Sheffield, Leeds or Manchester we would out sell Orient. The fact that they are based in London playing in a London final will mean they will sell more tickets.

Who cares ?

The most important result will be who will be playing in the championship next year.

Not sure why the FA gave us more tickets then Orient when it's clear that a London Club will always sell more tickets for a game PLAYED IN LONDON than one with a 330 mile round-trip; based on teams with a 'similar' size following.

I can remember last time at the Dagenham play-off that there was a group of Dagenham supporting West Ham fans on Wembley way trying their best to get a reaction from the Millers fans, they were giving it all that 'Northern Monkey' abuse, but nobody bit.

Clearly people in London who just want to see a game and experience Wembley will turn up supporting Orient.

As already said though, as long

RUFC only get 25% of the receipts anyway.

£13 per person. They made more in the friendly against Middlesboro.

We will sell about the same as them - give or take a thousand.

If the final was still at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff we'd outsell them I'm sure.

Our away support is always exceptional and I'm sure a few hundred here or there will make little difference to the volume.

The big issue last time was the amount of pubs given over to Daggers fans when there were more of us. At least we seem to have a decent list this time.
