I have friends who want to come down to this game, do we know roughly when a) the date and time of KO will be confirmed and b ) when the tickets will be on sale? Will ST holders get priority for the first lot of walk on tickets or not?

Info much appreciated

I hope ST holders don't get priority for walk on tickets , or there will be some very unhappy people out there, me being one of them.

If previous years are anything to go by then the first set of Sky games will be announced in around one week's time, although BFC have said it will be this week.

Club can't currently sell tickets due to implementing the new system (reason for friendly tickets not going on sale yet) but they've not announced any prices yet.

Don't know if they have any plans for how to sell them but season ticket (I should get used to saying card) holders will not get a priority, there's no reason for them to.

Considering we won't sell out due to high prices and the retainer then surely there will be pay on the gate for Chelsea and any other game.

I hope it's a 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon kick off.

Due back into Manchester ay 11.55am that day so should just be able to make it otherwise my ST is up for grabs.

"Considering we won't sell out due to high prices and the retainer"

Until they start flogging the cheap group tickets.

Just as a matter of interest I wonder how many Gold category matches there will be this season at (say) 42 quid?

Will Chelsea and Man Utd be the first two?

I was under the impression that the first game would sell like hot cakes... Seems not from the responses on here! Was worried i'd only be able to get a few seats in pairs rather than all of us sat together!

Thanks for the info guys.

I'm hearing that it is likely to be televised but no idea, if so, when it will be.
