Fulham have tried to sign our former goalkeeper but he's turned them down and said he's settled playing for 1860 Munich.

Over six years since he last played for us - he's 38 now.

Some are winning gold medals at 40 so he has a few good years left in him yet.:D

One of our best recent keepers but there are clearly issues from the neck up.

He was ****e! Will never forget the howler against Wolves.

"He was ****e! Will never forget the howler against Wolves."

Which was exactly what Brian Jensen had done three times in the previous two months. Gabor was an outstanding goalkeeper who has had a very good career including 90 caps. But he wore those pants and you couldn't shout BEAST when he was playing.

He was the most acrobatic keeper ever, when it came to turning a simple catch into a blinding eye catching move.

He was also the only keeper who in a one on one, made it a one on none on every occasion.

More than that - he could not actually be bothered.

Disaster for us but necessarily every team.

I don't know about outstanding but he was certainly better than Beast.

Still, those pants... >:)

God you must hate Jensen CT!! Any opportunity and you still want to have a dig at him. As an ardent Burnley fan it seems very strange that you have so much hostility towards a player that played a major part in getting us promoted to the Premiership. You really should let go.

Serious issues from the neck up.

And not so smart from the waste down either.

They were both crap.

Jensen had one good, consistent season with us and Kiraly didn't cover himself in any glory whilst with us. Somehow Jensen managed to keep the jersey ahead of other keepers except Grant who he was kept out by for the majority of Grant's time with us.

None of the keepers we've had in the past ten seasons have been as good as Heaton albeit Heaton has only been with us for one season so far.

Whatever the case, we're pretty strong in the goalkeeping department now :) Good times.

Kiraly was crap and is still crap and wears shoite jogging bottoms. The Beast albeit not the best keeper deserves some credit for helping us get promoted and dedicating ten years to BFC. BEAST BEAST BEAST

Who was that goal against where we conceded the penalty because Kiraly was still kicking the post and not paying attention?

I'm not comparing him to Jensen, I am judging him as a goalkeeper from what I saw in those years of him in a Burnley shirt. Nothing to do with shouting Beast or not and you know it.

I remember that... crazy. Was it Bolton or Preston or one of those 'massive' local teams?

Kiraly was a much better keeper than Jensen or anyone else we had at the club around that time.

The penalty was against Sheffield Wednesday, and shouldn't have been allowed by the ref.

It was that b'st@rd Matheson who always hated us - wasn't he from Stockport?
