View Full Version : Adam Reach - Middlesbrough

Some of you might remember him for his wonder goal against us up at the Riverside a few years back. Find it hard to believe that he was on loan at Bradford last season.

An absolutely first class performance from him today. He has tied the Leeds players in knots at times. Nice to see the Bori manager throw him back in at the deep end.

Regardless of the outcome, I've been very impressed with a lot of the Middlesbrough team today. They could be quite a force this season. - view external link (www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQGZTYsEqc8)

Surprised we didn't go for Adam Clayton surely after Bryson,Landsbury and McAthur he must be well up there as one of the best Championship midfielders?

16-08-2014, 01:11 PM
Totally agree re Clayton he has always bossed the midfield against us. would have been a useful signing and he would have jumped at the chance

boro lost 1-0. ;D

the cellino revolution as begun on leeds inexorable rise back to the top.;D

Thought you battled well today Roseylee, despite being second best in most areas. Atwell handed Leeds a huge lifeline by ruling out a clear goal, when Boro were bossing the game. Take the points and run. Hugely impressed with Middlesbrough at times.

dont worry mate, that team is nowhere near complete yet, once the rest of the reinforcements arrive, we can srart playing a bit of football again. ;D

Yes, poor decision from the referee. Very much a home decision. Leeds huffed and ****ed to the best of their ability but Rosetta is right that boro lost as opposed to the home side winning.

Roseylee, Leeds will not go up.

17-08-2014, 01:48 PM
i have not said leeds will go up this year, quicknick. cellino as already stated that it will be two seasons, before we conquer the championship. ;D

hope you are looking forward to tomorrow night, when burnleys chickens come home to roost. i certainly am. ;D

17-08-2014, 02:21 PM
Cellino will not be at Leeds by then Rosey as will probably be banged up in prison!

"when burnleys chickens come home to roost"

You clearly haven't been paying attention roseycheeks.

Burnley's chickens HAVE come home to roost.

We've spent within our budget. We've appointed managers wisely (since Laws).
We've bought players in who improve the squad. We play as a team unit without egos or 'megastars'.

Our chickens are all home and comfortably roosting.

We are in the Premier League.

i agree with you rowls, you have done very well attaining premier league status.

you have also spent within budget, ie. next to nothing. ;D

you have just missed out one slight teensy weensy point out of the equation.

staying up there, that is a different kettle of fish altogether. ;D

Leeds have been a 2 year project for the last 6 years or so.

McDermott was going to take a couple of years

This guy will take a couple of years

The guy who comes in at xmas will take a couple of years also no doubt.

It takes more than having 11 decent players on the pitch to get out of your league.

Scored against Liverpool tonight and looks like the kind of player our Sean likes. Left winger with a great engine.

23-09-2014, 08:39 PM
"Left winger with a great engine."

Reminds me of Chris Eagles: He had a Lotus.

23-09-2014, 09:45 PM
Lotus,..thought he had a Lambo?

24-09-2014, 12:00 AM
Yes it was a Lamborghini and a white one if I'm not mistaken

He spanked one against the crossbar vs Bournemouth (on The Football League Show). Also post under "players I would like us to sign" thread.
