All my family. As I like to say quite often, who was the last person to lead Burnley out in a Premier League fixture? Answer: My son. He was mascot in the Spurs game and led them out with Caldwell - a fantastic day! It's great living near Leeds. In fact at school my eldest has been called a glory supporter by Leeds fans for following Burnley. Absolutely fantastic I couldn't stop laughing. He is now recruiting more fans, they have claret numbers and enjoy coming over too. So there tomorrow and full family trip out for next home match. Left Lancashire couple of decades ago but can never leave Burnley FC.

How many Leeds in burley? Not sure if there was a supporters club pre Bates in Burnley, plenty in the rest of Lancs.

Good luck tomorrow.

If you red rosers really knew how many on Turf had come over via Laneshawbridge/Colne...;D

Lived in Crosshills for years, used to watch a procession of cars with Claret scarves/stickers gong up Station Road, finished my tea and joined them. Moved to Foulridge near Colne then joined the stream through Valley Road onto the M65 and off down Princess Way(?):D

Now in North Devon, stopped looking for Claret scarves on Sat lunchtime now...:blue:

feeding the troll would entail getting all upset and defensive.

and then employing smileys.

I grew up in Nelson, Brierfield and Burnley (in that order) but live between Harrogate & Leeds now. Like others have said there is a regular stream of Clarets traffic after every match that passes through Crosshills, Skipton, Ilkley & Otley.

Not a troll. Burnley fan since the 70's . Burnley were the biggest team around Skipton and have always been a rival to Leeds, Blackburn never got a look in.

Hebden Bridge born and bred (there have always been a large number of clarets in the calder valley). Now reside near Barnsley south Yorks...always a few clarets cars spotted on my journey back home (suspect Leeds based or further afield!)

I would say the Clarets predominate in Skipton, it would be close between Bradford City and Leeds.
Always puzzles me why Skipton has no football team to speak of. Silsden, whilst considerably smaller, play in the North West Counties (same division as Colne, Barlick and Nelson). Harrogate (whilst not exactly a football area ?) has two teams at a decent level, Guiseley missed out on a place in the National Conference in their play off final last season...the list goes on.

I'm originally from Skipton, and am a lifelong Claret.

I know many other Skiptonian Clarets as well.

Lots of Leeds fans in Skipton, surprisingly few Bradford City fans, and then the usual followers of Man Utd, Liverpool, etc.
