Then follow my tips this season.

Starting with a 10 double on Watford and Sheff Utd today. Both are 3-4 with Bet365.

Starting small but bets will soon ramp up!

The bookies fancy Rotherham to get something today.

Mortgage paid off here too.

Anyway didn't you once try something similar, one a day?

Wasn't it to turn 100 inTO 1000 but only ended up turning 100 into nil...

Today's bet is 20 double on Millwall and Bury. Pays 56.53.

With such large winnings as these I'll have paid my mortgage off in the traditional way before earning enough following these bets.

And for the record I've still got 16 years outstanding on it!!!!

Balance after last weeks bet stands at 67.17.

Shouldn't really be having a bet today as restricted programme and I've no strong fancies, but he who dares...

20 double on Bristol City and Peterborough. Pays 61.05.

I've got a sneaky feeling that Agard might score today. 7-5 for anytime scorer a bit short for my liking though.

Well that's 3 winning bets out of 3 and he has turned 10 into over 100. I think I may get on his next tip (although that will of course mean I break his winning streak!)

Out of interest why do you bet silly amounts like 24.75?

I hate international weekends.

I should be patient and retain discipline, but no...

Bristol City, Sheff Utd, Peterborough, Portsmouth & Exeter.

10 trebles, 5 four timers and 1 acca in 4s. Total stake 64.

Remaining balance is 183.00.

I will be cashing out if I ever go into profit!!

Update: Balance now 207.58 due to a lack of discipline.

Following on from the above, this is a history of my bets:

11/10/14: Trebles, four timers & acca. Staked 64.00 returned 0.

11/10/14: Full tilt. 83.00 on Torquay to beat Alfreton as it was on BT Sport. Returned 0. Balance: 100.00

18/10/14: 31.35 on Peterborough & Preston. Returned 100.18. Balance: 168.83

21/10/14: 23.53 on Derby & Charlton. Returned 100.01. Balance: 245.31.

25/10/14: Daft bet again. Yankee in 10's. Staked 110.00. Returned 0. Balance now 135.31.

01/11/14: 27.93 on Bristol City & Bury. Returned 100.20. Balance: 207.58.

If you've not worked it out yet, I stake enough to return 100.00 but the idea is that once I get to 200.00 I stake enough to return 200.00 and when I get to 300.00 I stake enough to return 300.00 and so on...

If I hadn't lost my discipline on three occasions, my bets would have been:

11/10/14: No bet. Balance still 247.00

18/10/14: 62.70 on Peterborough & Preston. Retu

07/11/14: 10 on Warrington to beat Exeter at 8-1. Won but cashed out at 72.00. Balance 242.84

08/11/14: Fulham, Peterborough & Plymouth in 20 doubles and a 20 treble. Staked 80.00. Returned 256.30. Balance: 419.14.

Put 200 on Luton at 23-20. Chickened out when they scored and cashed out 376.25. Cost me 54 but as long as I keep telling myself that it's not worth risking 376 for 54 then I'll be okay.

Balance now 595.39.

As well as you appear to be doing, although betting 200 on a single game to me smacks of desperation, I still put you 2 months in arrears with your mortgage.

one_a_day
15-11-2014, 05:04 PM
I'm trying to turn a tenner into a decent amount. I won't achieve that unless the stakes increase. There's no desperation in having a decent sized bet on a single when that single represents cracking value.

I could well lose the lot over the next few weeks but it will have been fun doing so.

Fair comment, oneaday.

But this is your second thread on 'get rich quick' schemes through gambling. They don't work mate, there's thousands of people in hostels or on the streets who went chasing easy money.

You shouldn't really be promoting it!

XD Loyal you sound like Grandad off only fools and horses from the episode where Delboy does Boycie at poker.

Think a single on the footy is a sensible bet if there's value in the price like there was with Luton yesterday.

Was a value bet, I like a bet myself and actually won on Luton, but that wasn't my point.

I bet not because I want to get rich or pay off my mortgage faster but because I love the buzz of getting a winning bet. To me it's just a fun pastime and that's all. I know although I may have winning days, weeks and even months, that at the end of the year the bookies will be the winners.
