Looked very lively and difficult for them to deal with, gave us the wide option we missed for many periods, definitely a super sub today with some good footwork and Crosses.

Not a fan but did well as sub today

He always seems to look lively and seems to create something when used as a Sub, then he starts a game...

Not seen Wallace beat a man and follow it up with a quality deliver like that since... Well probably since he played for PNE!

Well done Ross, great subs performance today.

Did really well when he came on

Did well today. Discussing in the car home how he tricks left backs by going down the line and then beating them but then cuts back onto his left!

At least today he used his right to put a cross in!

Yep, credit where it's due. Good sub today. Always works hard and his energy today Villa found difficult to deal with.

Always seems to be a game-changer when he comes off the bench. Just what the game needed today.

Having his best season for us.

Did really well apart from his 'hit the first defender corner'

Deffo good for the final 10 minute cameo against bottom half sides.

Oh btw I was very surprised he didn't take the penner, I thought he was first choice penalty taker at the club.

Always better when he comes on in last twenty mins as impact sub compared to when he starts games for us.

He and the Burnley,
Should have gone on to Win!!!!

This is why" the Clarets are going to stay up

"Did really well apart from his 'hit the first defender corner'"

And why we have no players closer to the corner than the centre of goal is at least as much of a mystery...

The best cross he put in (the one Juke put wide) was on his right foot - I don't think I've even seen him kick with his right before.
Very useful when the defender 'knows' you are totally one-footed.

I thought he changed the game. Great substitution from SD (again!)

Great performance today. Must be pushing for a start, which I'm not sure is a good thing or not! Cameos have been really positive so far this season and was really unlucky not to add an assist today.

Did well today. The whole game up to that (apart from one Kightly play) involved simple long ball, out wide, cross in - which was too easy for Villa. Wallace mixed up some crossing and fainting to cross/cutting inside, which was the most we'd troubled their defense all game

I've been highly critical of him in the past as I think he's underachieved generally whilst with us. However, in his cameos this season, he has been very good, and today he was outstanding.

Wallace was brilliant today when he came on. Unfortunately, a couple of those performances tends to lead to a start, and at PL level I can't see him giving that for 90 minutes. He's always impressed me as a sub. - fresh legs against tired defenders.

His start at WBA was, frankly, a disaster.

Not the only one to have a bad day though.

I am a massive fan of Ross Wallace. He's provided quality contributions and minutes off the bench. Definitely a huge part of the plan B and is doing a good job of making a case for the management team to play him for more minutes.

Always looks dangerous and has good control and precision with the ball. Very reliable IMO.
