What a strike !!!goal of the season stuff.
Excellent ball from Tripps and a sublime knock down with the head and then BANG .If only (again)
That would have been the winner.

What has two thumbs and forgot Burnley had a game last night? This dickhead (visualise thumb-pointing).

My gift, which I'm taking credit for even though it's someone elses work, is this Gfycat video. - view external link (http://gfycat.com/WatchfulMammothDachshund)

Seen a similar "iffy" keeping on another thread, sorry but great strike. If you are blaming the keeping for not saving a great goal then something is wrong. Credit where credit is due.

Credit where credit's due...OK

Boyd - Hit it early, on target

Keeper - should have done a lot better, if Heaton had let this one in there would have been mayhem on this board last night.

I will go with what the commentators and pundits said this morning. Great strike. Hardly a keepers problem and I defo wouldn't blame Heaton in the same situation. I didn't blame him for the Stoke goal, where he gets a hand to it, as it was a powerful header.

The keeper was totally unsighted. Boyd hit it early and it flew past three players before it smacked the back of the net. Great strike!

You both must have a long list of superlatives for goals because if 3 or 4 players had not have unsighted the keeper ( who I still think should have made a better effort ) it would have been a routine save at a comfortable height.

If a shot which was early, accurate but lacked placement/ movement / or venom is a great strike what was Pato's at Reading super great ?...Perhaps it should be described as brilliantly obscured, or then again perhaps a tad fortunate.

In the States they have a saying for those who know better when it comes to NFL games, they call it 'Monday morning quarterbacking'. May I propose 'Wednesday morning goalkeeping'?

To be fair to clareturion, he is not a big fan of giving anyone any credit ever, for anything.

I blame the board.

It's a lovely strike: clean, first time, through bodies. Keeper had no chance of seeing it till the last second.
