We have the third round of the fa cup game against Bournemouth.

Ref will be Neil Swarbrick :s ( owt can happen and probably will ;) )

Guests will be some 60s cup legends, P Madden, R Ironside, B Webster, K Bambridge and O Simpson.

Who will play is anyone's guess ;D but I'm predicting a win :D

Not taking t6he bet myself as I don't bet on Millers or England but, 3-1 is a cracking price given we don't know how strong Bournemouths XI is going to be or how interested they are in this particular match.

2-1 Millers

Roy Ironside in goal and Keith Bambridge out wide seems good to me.

2-1 Millers again.

Setting off in about half an hour. Hope the rain stops. Should be able to get a seat in the NY Tavern as everyone in Rotherham is having to work today.

Unfortunately, Peter Madden was ill so couldn't make it today.
Brecks told me on his arrival that Owen Simpson was coming as well.
As he only played 7 games for us in the mid 60's and the only photo's i've seen of him were old team photo's, i had absolutely no idea what he looked like, so couldn't say weather he turned up or not, but he wasn't introduced to the crowd at half time with the others.
The guest for the League game on the 17th is going to be Jimmy Mullen, the 80-81 Jimmy Mullen...The early 70's Jimmy Mullen is pencilled in for the Reading game in April.
