Quite a few people seem to think a lot of this guy. A few have been saying how disappointed they are that Evans said we wouldnt be making a move for this lad.
I was just wondering what people see in him?

He isnt match fit, hes getting on as hes now 31 years old. He would command a fair fee.
His record with us is 2 goals in 5 games which sounds quite good to be fair but lets look at those goals.
One was luck as the goal keeper smacked a clearance in to him after Pringle put a defender under pressure with the rebound ending up in the back of the net.
His other goal was a header of which he tussled with Bowery in the air knocking him to the floor in the process as he tapped the ball in to an open goal having fouled in the build up play to this goal.
I really do not think much to this lad and am glad Evans has said we will not be chasing his signature.

Evans said yesterday on Radio Sheffield that Becchio wouldn't be fit until after the transfer window, so that's why we wont be resigning him.

Quite right too! No manager in his right mind would sign an unfit player.

Get him on loan then !!

Most dangerous we have been all season with Bechio and Revell together.
Opposition defences are terrified of him !

ps Break the wage structure - Jamie O'Hara contract.

Anyone can manage pussies.

Leeds are after him now according to the Yorkshire Post (link) - view external link (http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/sport/football/leeds-utd/becchio-back-in-frame-for-leeds-return-1-7036118)

We should get him one way or another. He makes a team play. He can score goals nut he will make opportunities for strikers and midfielders coming through the channels. As has been said, other teams fear him and that creates further opportunities.

If Leeds are serious, we have no chance. Their fans adore him

Under the embargo's placed on Leeds and the other, they can still sign/loan players if there is no fee involved and the wages they pay/contribute is under £11,500.

I'm sure I read somewhere as well that they can spend any money the receive from selling players.

Leeds have released Hunt today (NI striker) so could be freeing up some space? Not sure how it all works.
