This is a fantastic statement, well done Club.

My Dad played for Rotherham United and is still alive at 93. I have his stats on his bedroom door thanks kindly to our historian. Sadly he has dementia now and in a home but his eyes light up when I recall his RUFC nickname - Lightning. He remembers playing with Danny Williams with great fondness. I guess his time will be up soon but how nice it will be for me to think RUFC can remember him as a player or as a fan and the man that initiated me into the cause

56 years since he last played at Millmoor and 3 months since he died, thanks to this wonderful initiative my dad finally got his on the scoreboard at Rotherham.
Thank you to everyone who showed fantastic respect today.
Unforgetable!
