January is here and we are having a clear out.

Some folk on here spend the first half of the season saying how poor our players are and not good enough for this league,

Saying Pringle isn't good enough, $lagging him off, begging SE to stop playing Revs and hoof ball, give the other strikers a go...bla bla bla, and so on and so forth..
Now changes are happening you all come on here moaning, groaning or are totally gob smacked.

FFS. get a grip, it was inevitable that a squad of 31 players would need to be trimmed before we could bring others in.

Get real and understand one thing..survival in this league with our crowds and our budget was always going to be incredibly tough.
If we finish the season 4th bottom its a good season, anything above that is a great season.

Just expect more ins and outs, remember that SE is learning this league too, so please let him learn what he needs to do to succeed.
Let SE and TS do what they see fit and if we get relegated well so be it.

At least w

But why strive to be 4th bottom? Ok you have to have some sense of realism but it never hurts to have a bit of ambition either.

This attitude of portraying ourselves as whipping boys has to stop or I fear the worst.

I don't think its a case of being whipping boys, just a sense of realism like you said.

Apart from the Prem, This is the toughest league to stay in or get promoted from.

You must agree that it's pretty tight top to bottom. Our management have never been at this level before and we have all seen the huge difference in the quality of football.

At the start of the season, the majority of fans realised that survival is our first priority. We can build from there.
On a positive note, I think that what is currently happening may turn out to be a blessing in disguise and once the ins and outs are concluded, we will be a better suited team for this league and the goals might finally start to go in our favour.

JCH 1st on team sheet up front. Last week he had nothing to go at. Should be more support tomorrow, now Ward as signed play him up front with him.
