View Full Version : Potential Sell Out tomorrow?

Would be a big statement if we can sell out tomorrow. It's fine doing it in the big games but against QPR (a big game but for a different reason) would be even better.

Looking like around 250 tickets left online, surely more than 250 walk-ons tomorrow?

The weather is definitely going to have a say but I do hope so!

QPR certainly won't sell out the CFS, so nowhere near a sell-out.

Theses home games against QPR, Palace and West Brom are our big games. I know I prefer them to the United, Chelsea, Arsenal, City games. If I had the choice I'd prefer to go to the fixtures we had a much better chance of winning than seeing the 'bigs'.

I did mean a home sellout of course...

I agree ClaretBFC88 - we are gong to stay up on the strength of our results against the teams around us, not points picked up against Newcastle etc. Still you have to appreciate how the other games would be considered big games.

It's the away end that will be full of holes.

That's a bit harsh Ian, I heard some of the QPR fans are quite nice.

How many tickets did qpr take ? Because it said on their official site there were less than 100 left earlier today ?

Looks like we've got about 1,000 left judging by the online availability, wether that's a good barometer or not is anyones guess. Walk ons could be put off by the weather, but apart from the F.A cup we haven't had a game at the Turf for a bit, so should be few seats remaining at 3'o clock, but we'll see tomorrow anyway.

The next 3 home league games are the sort where I wanted home fans in the CFS. This is what people like me meant when we complained about the Club's approach to the CFS and the retainer/walk on prices.

We could have had a full house and a right racket from all 4 sides and at the same time 'drowned out' the away fans.

Sad enough that I had a little count, can't see over 300 spots.

If the CFS would have had home fans in, then there would be gaps in the other stands.

No retainer and therefore reasonable walk on prices could well have brought a full house, including home fans in the CFS.

It has been done before - but someone knew best.

The more vocal the home crowd the more pressure on the ref etc.

Hoos that then?

They took 1,000 I think - that's what they are close to having sold.

1000 is poor but I guess when you get humped away every game a trip up to Burnley isn't the most attractive.

And they've even had free coaches laid on!

Yeas, Leisure has that right - they are providing free travel.

Web sales no longer available and a message saying limited availability. Could well be a sellout in the home stands. Great news!

Less than 800 tickets left at 10.30 this morning. B)

800 is a lot considering the importance of the match. 2-300 walk ons perhaps, if lucky?

Hope I am very weong and droves roll up the Brunshaw Road to see a famous victory for the Mighty Clarets.

Saw a few empty seats in JML but otherwise looked pretty full, (apart from CFS of course).
