At the end of his BBC interview Dyche utters those words that we hoped never to hear again... 'Long may it continue' Has the ghost of Coyle returned? Let's just hope that we don't hear him describe a player as 'quality'.

It's understandable to get twitchy at this time of year if you're a Burnley fan regarding managers and players leaving, but I'm feeling a wee bit more confident that Sean Dyche is here to at least see the season out with us.

To the OP: one word...NO!

Dyche is a very intelligent man in terms of his knowledge of the game, his preparation for the game, his managerial application, his motivation, his professionalism and his handling of the media.

He is an absolute gem, and pundits are increasingly recognising this, and as one of them said last night on MOTD, that if Dyche keeps Burnley up, he should be the manager of the season, because again, following on from last season, what he would have achieved would be nothing short of miraculous.

At the start of last season, pundits had already written us off, with many predicting relegation from the Championship, but Dyche go us automatic promotion - no play off lottery, straight up promotion to the premier league with just a reported 450k spend on Ashley Barnes.

Again, this season, pundits were writing us off claiming that we haven't got the strength and depth to compete in the premier league, and that we need to invest. Personally, I could see their point, bu
