A chance for the lad to spread his wings and experience a different area of the country.

The ideal move for him and links between us and Accy have been under exploited for too long at that level for whatever reason.

Hopefully it goes well for him and this can become a mutually beneficial option for both clubs. He seems to be a promising talent and its time he kicked on.

Now need to get some game time for the likes of Hewitt, Howieson and if he's fit again, Dummigan.

"and if he's fit again, Dummigan"

That one's a mystery. I don't think anyone knew he was injured until about 2-3 weeks ago when the club dropped a one liner into an otherwise unconnected article to report that he he'd suffered a long term injury.

Hope he was not playing in season 1014 as he must have rose from the dead :D

Good luck to Gilchrist. A bus ride to the football league.

This is what we need, really.

Could go wrong at any point, but if we can get a promising young player a start for his career and get Accrington to trust us with young loanees we've set ourselves up for a real success.

Was pleased to see this news. Jason didn't play yesterday although he was a sub. But Stanley having a bloke sent off ealy on meant his chances of playing were very limited. And there's Shay McCartan ahead of him on the pecking order (also on the bench but has been scoring of late).

Be good for him to get some match time.

And that's a good point about Howieson above- a few years ago he was tipped as a wonderkid, he got that loan move to Doncaster at League 1 but never played...what is going on with him now?
