Don't know who is close to Eli but it is Sean Dyche playing for Chesterfield against us

Burnley 0-1 Chesterfield?

Strangely enough we were talking about this match at the last home game.

My first thought was Measham but looking again you are right clareturion with Davis.

Yes I recognise Mr Birtwistle in the Cricket Field.

His duffle coat is a dead give away.

Was that the only home game we lost all season?

If memory serves me right Chris Marples had a blinder for them in goal.

Marples.

I was trying to remember his.

So who is the Burnley player that we can't see properly?

Well going off the knee to ground ratio and the thick set shins, it's got to be Deary.

The guy marking Eli looks like Chris Morgan with longer hair :D (The no nonsence defender who used to play for Barnsley and Sheff Utd)

I think the guy behind Dyche is Jamie Hewitt. This is from 1990 I think so Marples can't have been in goal for Chesterfield in this particular game (he left in 1987 and rejoined in 1992).

Hewitt did play. Mark Leonard was the keeper.

Big Dave Lancaster scored.

That Dyche bloke looks a big lad! Is he the one in Ginger?

3rd April 1990 we drew 0-0 ... Chesterfield played in Yellow and Green the day Dave Lancaster scored (the big lump ;) ) they also had a different pattern home shirt that season so it's definitely 89-90 .

The Chesterfield player next to Eli is Bryn Gunn

Dyche would have only been 18 at the time
