Chelsea v no-one?

Chelsea v David Luiz

Never a red card.

11-03-2015, 07:20 PM
Poor refereeing again, chelsea reactions got the red.

Imploding Turtle
11-03-2015, 07:23 PM
Oscar booked.

Will his next yellow come before half time, or after?

11-03-2015, 07:24 PM
"Poor refereeing again, chelsea reactions got the red."

Your right bobcloth, also Mourinho in his press conference went on about how aggressive PSG are, thus planting the seed.

11-03-2015, 07:26 PM
I so hope we can stay up, just to rub their stupid noses in it again next season

Imploding Turtle
11-03-2015, 07:29 PM
Oh dear. That was a penalty all day.

He's not Michael Oliver, this guy.

11-03-2015, 07:33 PM
Minute 42?

11-03-2015, 07:38 PM
If Costa learned how to dive he might have more chance of winning a penalty. Instead he just continues to throw himself arse over head as soon as he is touched in the box...oooh matron.

11-03-2015, 07:47 PM
More Chelsea cheating and gamesmanship, gets Ibrahimovic sent off. Oscar play acting and all Chelsea players immediately put the referee under pressure.

11-03-2015, 07:49 PM
Only just this minute seen the sending off which was an awful decision and the disgusting reaction by the Chelsea players was so typical and expected by a team managed by Mourinho.

Jamie Carragher and Graeme Souness both slated Chelsea and Mourinho and rightly so.

I absolutely loathe Man City but I tell you what I really hope that they pip Chelsea to the Premier League title

Imploding Turtle
11-03-2015, 08:18 PM
He did well there to give Luiz a yellow card. He really wanted to fake a headbutting there but realised it was hilariously awful play-acting.

11-03-2015, 08:23 PM
One of the most disgraceful games of football I have witnessed in a long while

Sickening, and displays all that is wrong with top flight games now

11-03-2015, 08:27 PM
The ex Burnley player scores the winner though.

Imploding Turtle
11-03-2015, 08:28 PM
Time to cash out if you've backed Chelsea.

Imploding Turtle
11-03-2015, 08:29 PM
Lol. There it is.

11-03-2015, 08:30 PM

Can't believe that I cheered the PSG equalizer in but both Chelsea and Mourinho disgust me

Imploding Turtle
11-03-2015, 08:31 PM
I'm feeling particularly smug.

11-03-2015, 08:33 PM
I cant make head nor tail of that bet :?

11-03-2015, 08:34 PM
'I'm feeling particularly smug'

And here's me thinking that was your default setting.

Imploding Turtle
11-03-2015, 08:36 PM
"I cant make head nor tail of that bet"

Backed at 2.2 pre-match.
Layed at 1.14 to give me a free bet when Chelsea scored.
Cashed out altogether at 1.17 because **** Chelsea.
Luiz Scores [smugness intensifies]

11-03-2015, 08:41 PM
It's a petty there can't be two losers tonight.

Imploding Turtle
11-03-2015, 08:45 PM
The problem is that if Chelsea lose then they've nothing to distract them from winning the league.

Imploding Turtle
11-03-2015, 08:48 PM
That was a ballsy penalty.

Imploding Turtle
11-03-2015, 08:52 PM
For the curious, away goals do still get considered after extra time.

Heh. 2-2 (3-3)

11-03-2015, 09:08 PM
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssss...again!!!!! :D

11-03-2015, 09:08 PM
Chelsea concede from another corner.

11-03-2015, 09:10 PM
Let's hope it stays like this. Look forward to seeing who Jose will blame. I'm sure he'll come out and admit his lovely player Costa should have been sent off. He's just nice that way.

Imploding Turtle
11-03-2015, 09:11 PM
I confess, I still kinda want Chelsea to win, just for the drama. And despite Mourinho, they're still a British (based) club.

11-03-2015, 09:11 PM
Mourinho may force his way into the house of commons to give his excuses for this one.

Imploding Turtle
11-03-2015, 09:12 PM
Also, lets not forget that PSG are French, and **** the French.

11-03-2015, 09:12 PM
Disgraceful unsporting performance from Chelsea and their manager, getting their just desserts! :D

11-03-2015, 09:13 PM
come on chelsea! for england! :)

11-03-2015, 09:17 PM
Don't give a crap that Chelsea are from England. Dislike them with a passion. Horrible team managed by an unsporting, child like manager.

Come on Jose, let's be hearing you?

Imploding Turtle
11-03-2015, 09:18 PM
And now we await the Mourinho press conference.

11-03-2015, 09:18 PM
Arrogance beyond belief.

11-03-2015, 09:18 PM
Mourinho deserves this result.

11-03-2015, 09:19 PM
jose mourinho! winds up burnley-io! XD

11-03-2015, 09:22 PM
I always want an English side to win in Europe.

But my chuckle-o-meter has gone mental with this one.

11-03-2015, 09:22 PM
Souness - well said.

11-03-2015, 09:22 PM
Jordan, no need for you to worry about this. It's all a bit Premier League for you.

11-03-2015, 09:23 PM
Absolutely delighted that Chelsea are out :D

11-03-2015, 09:23 PM
Well said Souness!!

11-03-2015, 09:23 PM
Joe could do to look a little closer to home rather than coming out with the inevitable referee bashing which we'll hear shortly. He and his team are an embarrassment and it seems that the pundits have finally strapped a pair on and are speaking up against them.

11-03-2015, 09:23 PM
A Portuguese Holloway.

11-03-2015, 09:25 PM
I bet Mourinho blames Ashley Barnes!

11-03-2015, 09:26 PM
I enjoyed Minute 114

11-03-2015, 09:27 PM
Hahahahahaahahaha at Mourinho. Couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke.

Been to Paris a few times as a student to their labs, so this is a fantastic result

11-03-2015, 09:31 PM
Really enjoyed that.

Oh and please let's have no more talk about criminal players after that exhibition from Chelsea.

11-03-2015, 09:31 PM
Everyone else to blame bar the special one ;D

Imploding Turtle
11-03-2015, 09:31 PM
Can we now do away with the meme that the "Premier League is the best league in the world"?

No English clubs in the quarter finals of the Champions League (probably).

11-03-2015, 09:32 PM
Pleased to see some applauding the comments from Souness. He's got Chelsea and their manager absolutely spot on.

11-03-2015, 09:33 PM
first time ever I have enjoyed an english (based) club being knocked out of european competition (with the obvious execption of the Barstewards ( Trelleborgs etc!) )

Chelsea are a horrible club with an equally repulsive manager.

Well done PSG.

11-03-2015, 09:36 PM
What did souness say?

11-03-2015, 09:36 PM
you were calling your manager the ginger mourinho right up until his justified comments regarding ashley barnes challenge..

barnes was NOT cleared by the fa.

11-03-2015, 09:39 PM
Of course Barnes wasn't cleared by the FA. There was nothing to clear him of, apart from the demented ramblings of a sore loser.

You might as well say that your man Rhodes has never been cleared of raping his own goalkeeper during the Burnley match last season. Well, has he? Have the FA given their verdict?

11-03-2015, 09:41 PM
Ginger Mourinho is still better than the ugly Susan Boyle

A better nickname that is, as you say we've realised Dyche's superiority now

11-03-2015, 09:43 PM
Jordan12 rhodes or is it JORGONE RHODES

11-03-2015, 09:45 PM
For those of us on freeview and non massive 50 inch HD teles, what did Souness say?

11-03-2015, 09:46 PM
Jordan12 rhodes or is it JORGONE RHODES its neither its horsefiddling tosser

11-03-2015, 09:51 PM
"For those of us on freeview and non massive 50 inch HD teles, what did Souness say?"

He was scathing of the Chelsea manager's slur on PSG ahead of the game and he was more scathing of the Chelsea players chasing the referee to try and get players sent off.

Love him or loathe him, at least Souness tells it how he sees it when he's on television.

11-03-2015, 09:54 PM
is it coincidence barnes is now less effective with the refs keeping their eye on him since that chelsea game..? hmm..

11-03-2015, 09:55 PM
They have clearly been told to alert the ref of every single possible infraction after Dyche's comments.

11-03-2015, 09:57 PM
Souness called Chelsea's antics pathetic as well, something we already knew.

11-03-2015, 09:57 PM

11-03-2015, 10:06 PM
/He was scathing of the Chelsea manager's slur on PSG ahead of the game and he was more scathing of the Chelsea players chasing the referee to try and get players sent off.

I've never been a fan of Souness but good on him on this occasion.

11-03-2015, 10:09 PM
We all have different opinions on pundits and I know a lot of people don't like Souness. I've always found him OK because at least you get an honest opinion.

He does have something to say which can't be said for the likes of Savage and Shearer.

11-03-2015, 10:10 PM
Bint :-

I know its more JC but I was looking for a YouTube link of what GS said and this is the best I can find. - view external link (http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/9754516/chelsea-players-blasted-by-jamie-carragher-over-ibrahimovic-red-card)

Wonder if MORONinho will have an hour and a half program tomorrow on ski blaming our Ash for this cock up as well XD XD XD prize p...r

11-03-2015, 10:16 PM
Of the terrestrial TV ones, I don't think that you can beat Danny Murphy or Leroy Rosenior.

11-03-2015, 10:19 PM
I've been very impressed with Danny Murphy

11-03-2015, 10:24 PM
Cheers Cloughy.

That wasn't a sending off and the Chelsea players were pathetic.

The funny thing is that Souness wouldn't have pulled out of that tackle and would have chopped him in half. And then there wouldn't be any need for any acting. :D

11-03-2015, 10:28 PM
Maybe if after the Clarets game he addressed his own teams short comings and lack of fluidity at the time, it may have lead to recognising their current lack of a cutting edge which they had earlier in the season. You reap what you sow.

11-03-2015, 10:30 PM
Danny Murphy was one of the few that came out on ABs side. He was impressive at the World Cup too - seems to be a pundit that no-ones 'got to' yet.

Souness looked fuming (though do I concede he often does)

11-03-2015, 10:30 PM
"The funny thing is that Souness wouldn't have pulled out of that tackle and would have chopped him in half."

And then taken each half and chopped them again leaving four quarters.

Ted Downing-Street
11-03-2015, 10:31 PM
The equalizer was very similar to Ben Mee's, which makes you wonder whether Mourinho was paying attention or too busy working out his "key" minutes against us.

12-03-2015, 04:51 AM
Only just seen this due to the time difference. It really has put a smile on my face.

I hate comments like 'we should suport them because they're an English club'

B***ox I don't regard Chelsea as an English club. They represent everything thats repulsive about the modern game. Odious manager, odious chairman and odious supporters.

12-03-2015, 05:18 AM
Chelsea got what they deserve. I lost any respect for them after the recent events with us.
We've been critical of our recruitment team over transfer policies and signings, however I think some of these big boys need to take long hard look at organisations.
The PL may be the richest league in the world but IMO it's not the best by a long chalk. A lot of these so called foreign players are on astronomical wages but are very, very ordinary.
Viva la France.

12-03-2015, 06:11 AM
Don't worry the Chelsea PR team will get busy and discredit everyone associated with their loss and as such get themselves reinstated into the tournament. Am I being cynical? Perhaps but after their recent antics with Ash I have absolutely zero respect for them and their manager.

12-03-2015, 06:48 AM
Yeah! couldn't happen to a nicer fella...
i've been on a couple of PSG games in Paris, the stewards treat the fans like animals in cages or prisoners at best. Having said that there's a good % of mindless idiots among PSG fans, aggressively insulting the away team before they've even kicked a ball.

12-03-2015, 07:58 AM
Since my childhood when one of their supporters sent me loads of Chelsea memorabilia after a supporters coach was parked outside the Queen Vic hospital and the guys tried to tell the four of us that they were the team coach, I have had a soft spot for Chelsea and was pleased with their success. Afraid until the present regime changes that soft spot has gone. Delighted with the drubbing they got last night and it was a drubbing. 11 prima donnas unable to turn over 10men in over 1 hour at home with the officials if anything adding to the 11.
Think they will be champions but if only...

12-03-2015, 08:37 AM
'They represent everything thats repulsive about the modern game. Odious manager, odious chairman and odious supporters. '

I've despised Chelski ever since Abramovich turned up with his oil millions and played championship manager cheat with a team that was doing nothing. The day he pulls out and they plummet through the leagues without his millions will be a good day.

Same goes for Citeh.

As for Mourinho, he's just the Katie Hopkins of football isn't he?

12-03-2015, 11:04 AM
What a fantastic result for football. The cheats beaten by a far superior team. I couldn't believe Gary Neville's comments at the start of the second half when he said Chelsea were right to act as they did because English clubs needed to cheat to compete at european level !!!. Is that the sort of football he wants.

12-03-2015, 11:58 AM
Unfortunately, commentators like Neville - any commentator in fact, will not bite the hand that feeds them.
They simply have to perpetuate the myth that PL is the best and its teams the finest however obviously untrue that might be.

12-03-2015, 02:18 PM

12-03-2015, 02:39 PM
Terry defending the surrounding of the ref on the BBC website saying all teams are as bad as each other and you have to stick up for your team mates - laughable .

12-03-2015, 03:32 PM

12-03-2015, 04:55 PM
The so called beautiful game is fast becoming the ugly game.

The governing bodies need to get a grip of the whole cheating, dirty lot
Doubtful that will happen though while they are getting fat wage cheques off the back of it

"I hate comments like 'we should support them because they're an English club'"

Are you referring to something said on TV, because no one has said that in this thread.
