It's not the best album in the world ever, but it's certainly up there.

"I think she'd die for Beethoven"

But she'd certainly resurrect herself for Jeff Lynne... - view external link (www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfK8t4j7I64)

You've gone off topic (a little) Yesthatironingboard.

We'll run with it though. There's something very moving about the empty rocking chair on the End Of The Line video after The Big O had died.

Gets me every time.

Sorry the rocking chair isn't empty, it's got his guitar in it.

Still a choker... - view external link (www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwqhdRs4jyA)

The Wilburys were great (but how could they not be?) but I could never see the attraction of ELO.

I've pondered previously if ELO started playing pap because Roy Wood left, or whether Woody left because he could see the direction in which ELO were heading.

Funnily enough, I just switched on the TV and this very clip was on BBC4.
'The Diary of Horace Wimp' or 'Walk on Hot Coals'

No contest really... - view external link (www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKaiHamPT54)

'The Wilburys were great (but how could they not be?)'

Well Roy Wood wasn't in it for a start, and considering that ELO playing pap Jeff Lynne was, surely the Wilburys could have been greater.

We can all play that game. 'Walk on hot coals' or 'Oh well'

he said roy wood was in ELO, which he was.

however ELO massively improved when wood left and roy went on to wish he was in ELO every day.

I'm fully aware of that, but what's the significance of that to what I posted?
