I just thought I'd have a look at how far we have come and was looking to early October for our first win. I'd forgotten that we were rock bottom and 5 points adrift of safety into November, and without a win for so long. Everybody wrote us off as certainties for the drop.

Compare our form to QPR and Leicester (who's manager stated they were better than Burnley every way), and we've done remarkably well. Here are the tables:

We are also 1 point better off than last time we were in premier league BUT a better goal difference of 10 goals. We have scored a few less but have more clean sheets than last time.

This is the first time we've been in front of the 2009/10 total all season.

The 29th game last time was the 1-1 draw against Stoke which took us to 24. And we lost the next four so we'd still only 24 from 33 games. Then came the win at Hull.
