Score predictions... please!

I'm going for 3-0 England.

Kane first scorer.

27-03-2015, 06:00 PM
Kane has scored 29 goals in 43 games this season. That's pretty impressive for an English striker, which is a position we're not exactly blessed with.

Not starting though by the looks of it which is a shame.

Rooney heads in his 47th England goal after goalie saves a Welbeck shot.

27-03-2015, 08:32 PM
Welbeck makes it 2-0 on the stroke of half time.

2-0 half time. Not been the best of games so far, but I'd class it as an average England performance.

I'm not being funny, and things like this don't usually bother me but those prawn sandwich brigade seats are an absolute embarrassment and have been for ten years.

rooney showing the wingers how to cross.

he'd be out of sight by now if he'd had that kinda service himself.

Really pleased for the lad Kane.

18 seconds into his debut! Incredible.

Chinese Whispers?

27-03-2015, 09:42 PM
They've now just said 80 seconds.

The BBC said 80 seconds in their live text, minute 73. One minute after they said he chested the ball down for Barkley.

More likely you misheard.

someone with the user 10kamonth getting his numbers wrong?

well, i never.

When Sterling scored the camera panned to Hodgson and Hodgson asked Lewington "who scored that" which Lewington replied with "Sterling". XD

And that with Harry Kane sounding like Tommy Cooper, I don't think my pants will ever dry.

27-03-2015, 10:09 PM
When Kane scored, Chris Waddle on radio said: 'Harry Kane scores. Michael Caine and Citizen Kane could have scored against these".

27-03-2015, 10:12 PM
Unfortunately to our cost we know that Chris Waddle is a bit of a tit.

never understood that whiff of xenophobia that is evident among the bbc/radio5 commentariat.

seem to enjoy belittling the smaller nations and making out the foreigners just don't understand football.

until the foreigners beat us. then it's a period of brief introspection and onto the next footballing debacle.

Welbeck injured and out of squad for game in Italy.

Perhaps Roy will call up Woodrow, the prolific goalscorer from Championship Fulham.:/
