It doesn't seem it, but it is a year ago today that Burnley travelled to Blackpool and came home with all three points courtesy of a Michael Kightly goal that left us just about touching the Premier League.

It hardly mattered that Derby beat Doncaster as we made our way home because we knew that only two more points were needed from the last three games to ensure promotion.

It was a day when we had to contend with traffic hold ups on the way and then the disturbances with tennis balls in the second half with Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston bringing his own tennis racquet (that's allegedly of course, and if he didn't and he wants to sue, I don't have twenty grand or anything like it).

By the time the tennis balls arrived we were 1-0 up through Michael Kightly and all we had to contend with after that was a late charge from Blackpool that was basically a barrage of long balls into our box that we dealt with Kieran Trippier ending the one dangerous situation with a superb headed clearan

2 ***** wins in seasons where we successfully avoided relegation. Let's hope we continue that trend this afternoon!
