correct me if im wrong, but in the 1980 -81 season ,norwich had been relegated from division 1(premiership) and rotherham had been promoted from division 3 to division 2 (Championship ) -same as this season - result Rotherham 4 Norwich 1 - hope history repeats itself.

Yes you are correct. It was the first day of the season. Remember their fullback, Polish lad Muzinic? got a right run around. Another potential coincidence, Norwich got promoted that season.

It was the featured game on "The Big Match".

Norwich took the lead and the cameras nearly missed our equaliser as they were filming the Norwich celebrations.

What a season that was!

Remember Ronnie heading the ball into the top corner, great memories...hopefully there's better ones to come

My mate turned up late. The enclosure, where we all stood at that time, was full. He didn't want to go to any other part of the ground so he went back to the pub.

He missed a cracking game.

Was it Emlyne's 1st home game in charge? Did Rodney Fern score a couple?

Hope your right with 4-1, any win would do. I was there was Cambridge away Em's 1st game proper in charge, I was there to lost 2-0.
