That's 40 points deducted in the last 10 years - average 4 points per season - 3 points is nowt to us - all fair and above board - I mean they would treat all clubs the same I'm sure whether it's us, Birmingham, West Ham, Tottenham or whoever.

Birmingham fan here; not sure why you mentioned us, but I would like to know why you got deducted points but Blackpool didn't?

Anyway, hope you stay up.

It's cause we are Rotherham and Steve Evans is our gaffer. I'm disappointed it wasn't 6. At least that would be something to challenge us,

Blackpool lost their game v Millwall.

No points gained, think they just copped for a fine.

Blackpool lost so didn't gain anything and were just fined.

We won therefore gained and have been given a points deduction.

Why have we copped a fine as well is my question.

The bit that bothers me is the assumption That we wouldn't have won anyway against a team in free fall so not sure it makes sense - surely it should be punishment of the offence, not the outcome. A breach of the rules is a breach of the rules.

In addition surely a breach of FFP gives clubs a much larger advantage over the course of the season than us failing to fill a form in on time!!
