An early classic to remember him well by:

"You Could've Been A Lady" 1971

What's going on - Percy Sledge, Ben E King and now Errol Brown, all in the last 2-3 weeks.

Very sad news. Hot Chocolate was everything that was great about 70s pop music. Highly polished, hit after hit. I'll put forward 'Don't stop it now'. Bye Errol

Sad news. Hot Chocolate provided a lot of the soundtrack to my 'yoof' in the 70's.

Some great tunes but 'Emily' and the ultra cool 'Brother Louie' (linked) were 2 of my favourites. - view external link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiM6hF1naXE)

Errol gone?

No doubt about it.

Another underrrated talent of the '70s and only 71 y/o.

RIP.

He wouldn't be singing this too often if he was a Claret - You Win Again - view external link (www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kw8vw55GzhU)
