Telegraph reviews impact of FFP fine on QPR if they are relegated and says its not clear which division they will be playing in.
It does suggest financial accounting tricks they missed that were used by other clubs - view external link (www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/queens-park-rangers/11587937/QPR-may-regret-failing-to-exploit-FFP-loophole.html)

Is that a shame?

Only for the loyal fans.

I'd love it if they were dropped out of the football league. Replace them with Forest Green Rovers!

Article suggests they might still be able to massage the figures though, but think these accounts refer to last years figures so hopefully not and they pay whatever price the FA imposes.

To do what is suggested (write down values to decrease amortisation in last year's accounts) they would have had to do it in their last premier league season, not last year.

I was amazed to see that their amortisation figure was so high last year (16.5m). That suggests a squad that cost about 50m. I didn't realise they'd spent quite that much. For comparison, our figure was 2.5m.

It's hard to tell what is and isn't allowed though seen as the FL refuse to actually release the rules.

Aggi it's their championship spend last year and the FA not thePL that's their problem. Only when relegated do they pay

Yes, they'd have had to take a bigger hit in their previous premier league season (12-13) to make a smaller loss last year (13-14).
