Remember him? Played a handful of times for Burnley in the 2005-06 season. He got injured and had to retire, after joining on loan from Arsenal.

I work at a site called Rabble.TV which is for live sports commentary and podcasting. I'm actually from Burnley myself so it was a bit of a blast from the past when one of our users put up this interview with him, he was talking to Gol Bezan, an Iranian football podcast (Danny was born in America to an Iranian father)

Anyway, here's part 1 of the interview with him, talks a bit about Burnley and his injury. Thought you guys might like it - https://rabble.tv/broadcast/562a84266e20da4857d6f968/view

Don't think it was a loan. I think we actually signed him didn't we?

Linked added as well - view external link (rabble.tv/broadcast/562a84266e20da4857d6f968/view)

You're right, according to wiki anyway. I was 11 at the time so I can't really remember that much, I do remember it being quite impressive that Burnley had signed a player with 5 vowels in their last though

He's American scout for Arsenal now, I think. I tweeted with him a couple of times and he was polite, but not exactly full of praise, for his time at Burnley. Cotterill signed him, but always had the mystery injury, and you can't imagine SC handling that too well. ("Well why don't you just go out and play, laaaaad")

Here's part two of that interview if some of you are interested, expands a bit more on what it's like being a scout. Really interesting stuff https://rabble.tv/broadcast/5637acb9c88dbc440908f27c/view
