View Full Version : Time To Panic

Two weeks ago I was telling people they were being unduly pessimistic. We were in touch with 6 or 7 other teams and had just come through a difficult run of fixtures. After today I've changed my mind. That performance was the worst I can remember, and worse still, offered few glimmers of hope other than a Man City loanee who will be gone in no time. There was no organisation, no invention and no passion. It was a team without a heart.

For whatever reason, Redfearn isn't getting the best out of the players and his statements this week that he inherited an unplanned mess, smack of desperation. Fact is that the 'unplanned mess; got us into this league and to stay in last season. Just don't see anything other than league 1 after today.

I think the time to panic is passed, that happened when we changed managers, it's now time to resign ourselves to our fate (or pray for a Leicester-type revival and at the moment I can't see even the slimmest chance of that).
