Isn't it about this time of year when the Club's accounts are published ??

With B&*%*rds, Notlob, Pie eaters and the Donkey Lashers all in various states of playing dis-array & debt, it'll be lovely to have another reason to Lord it over them !! Call me greedy but having first watched the Clarets in 1974, I've a lot to make up for...

""having first watched the Clarets in 1974, I've a lot to make up for.""

In 1974 we were streets ahead of the clubs you mention.

We finished around 6th or 7th in the top flight.

Bolton and Blackpool continued their struggles in the second tier whilst the crumbling Riverside at Ewood hosted some dire 3rd division stuff for a dwindling band of Blackburn fans.

As for Wigan, I recall a trip there to watch Rossendale United, with Johnny Pearson et al, give them a fair old humping in front of a few dozen local scroats and drop-outs, in what was probably the old Northern Prem.

I think the league get them sent around about now. They're usually made public early in the new year I think?

"They're usually made public early in the new year I think?"

Not at Burnley. I've been a shareholder for over 30 years and the latest we've received them (although we don't get sent copies now) is early December. They used to have to send them with a minimum 21 days before the AGM which had to be held by the end of the calendar year although we haven't had an AGM since 2012.

These are the dates they've been made publicly available. Not sure about shareholders.

Don't know where you've got those dates from but they are not correct or anything like it.

That looks like a Companies House website to me, so I'd be surprised if they aren't the correct filing dates. It's usually a few days after they've been posted.

'to watch Rossendale United with Johnny Pearson'

Very good friend of mine is John. I'm sure he'd be thrilled to hear himself being talked about with such high regard.

They are certainly not the dates when they are made public though.

The FL have probably got a copy at present so they can decide who's getting a new embargo or keeping their current one.

Rovers are confident of getting rid of theirs through a legal challenge? or by the Venky's pouring money into the club.
Either way they believe Lambert wouldn't have agreed to sign up without the promise of being able to splash out in the january sales.

Hi CT, yes they are Companies House filing dates, so they are when they are available to the general public. Shareholders may receive early?
